Hydraulic valve adjustment

Warm up the motor.
 | Take
one valve cover off, start motor and begin at one end and back off a
polylock slowly until it the lifter starts to make noise. |
 | With
your fingers (can use a socket w/o ratchet to make it easier to turn)
leaving the setscrew loose start to tighten the polylock until it is quiet,
you will feel the polylock just hit resistance. |
 | Then
back it off a little until it starts to make noise again, repeat this step
until the polylock quiets the lifter at the same place with the polylock. |
 | Take
your allen wrench and regular wrench hold the polylock and spin down the
setscrew until it just snug against the rocker stud. |
 | Now
holding BOTH the allen and regular wrench together tighten
them 1/8th to ¼ of a turn. |
 | Move
to the next polylock. |
